It was a LONG night

Joel put Riley to bed last night sometime around 9:30pm. After a catnap, he woke up around 10:30pm and decided he was "starving" and needed to be changed, over, and over, and over, and over again. He finally fell asleep at 4am. Needless to say, I am not on the top of my game today. It was supposed to be Joel's night, but that is a whole other story. Around 2am, after being completely exhausted and fed up, I went in the bedroom and woke Joel up and told him he needed to get up and move Riley's rocker into his bedroom (lately it gets moved back and forth between the living room and bedroom), give him some Benedryl and I would be back to take care of him after I ate about half a sleeve of thin mint cookies. The rocker was a nice distraction, but it was still two more hours before Riley finally gave up and went to sleep. Surprisingly, he woke up around 9:30am in a great mood. I can't say the same for me...

Riley had a good day with Lexi. They took a trip to the mall today. She said he LOVED the elevator, so they proceeded to ride it up and down several times. The whole time, he kept saying, "a spaceship!" He was actually still in a really good mood when we got home from work this evening. I'll stop there - I don't want to jinx it! Good Night
