We are home!

I just wanted to give a very quick update that we are home from our quick trip to Duke. We actually made the 7 hour trip home in only 7.5 hours instead of the 9 hours it took us to get there. We had a much better trip home than our trip going to Duke.

One interesting thing happened today. Apparently, Riley lost one of his top front teeth! We don't know when it happened, but apparently, he swallowed it. Joel was changing him in the car and he was smiling and I noticed it was just gone. We never even knew when it happened, but I guess the tooth fairy will visit our house tonight, even without a tooth under the pillow!

Of all the tests that were back before we left Duke, everything came back in normal ranges. They drew a ton of blood and sent some off, so other results will be back later. We will have to go back again for a full week around April for his 1 year post transplant follow up. We have several things to follow up on with Riley's doctor here now that we are back, but I am too tired to list them out. Before I turn in, I just want to wish Deidra Bartel and Shannon Gonzalez both Happy Birthdays!
